St Mary's Church, Battersea, London SW15.
The Parish Church of St Mary’s Battersea is a Grade 1 Listed Georgian church that lies alongside the River Thames and although rather overshadowed by the new Montevetro Development, retains a strong presence both on the river and the street.
The church has been well cared for over the years and still retains a largely original galleried interior although the box pews were replaced probably in Victorian times. Work within the church has been concentrated on improving the facilities for the use of the Parish and the congregation whilst respecting and retaining its historic fabric.
